what could possibly be causing a strong fishy odor when my a/c or heater is running? Its not constant--it comes and goes but when its there its very noticeable. I never notice it when the car is not running in fact it still has that new car smell before i turn it on in the morning--the dealer is telling me that it might be wiper fluid that's causing it but i've never known wiper fluid to smell like that--help?

Hi there,

Get the heater/Air con ducts treated for mold and mildew, there are preparations designed to combat this problem, often caused by moisture trapped in the A/C air box due to a faulty drain hose.
