2007 Chevy Equinox Check Engine Light

The past few weeks my check engine light has been coming on and then going off. I have also noticed a problem with acceleration when the engine first gets going in the morning. It is almost as if when I push the gas it has to think for a minute before going forward. It kind of jerks. As I continue driving it stops. I took it to the dealer and they had me clean the fuel system.

It worked great until today. I just filled it up a couple of days ago and the check engine light has come on again. I tightened the gas cap, but nothing changed. Any ideas?

Hello,

If the check engine light has been on and off there should be a code set. Take it by your local auto zone or similar and have them pull codes most will do it free. Post codes here.....

Turns out it was the throttle.
