i put a new ignition in and the key won't reset, how do I reset?

Hi I believe you are talking about a coded key. If this is the case you only have two choices one is go to the dealer and have the key re programmed.

Option number two call a locksmith and have him reprogram key. Sorry but no other way, it is all anti theft stuff. Hope this helps billymac
