I've got a 1999 corvette with 28,084 miles on it, it's an automatic transmission, on friday it drove it home from work no problem at all, on sunday I tried to start it up to go somewhere and I had no power. I got a new battery for it, and then it started but shutdown by it's self wouldn't keep the fuel line going. I also noticed that my radio doesn't work the car only unlucks but doesn't lock, the windows don't go down, and the button doesn't work my friend was thinking that it could be something with the key that it doesn't reconize it but I'm not too sure. :( Anybody have any ideas.

I was told it's probably something to do with the Alarm system not reading my key does anybody know how I might be able to restart this?

When a battery goes dead on the car due to what ever reason. It will also take the alternator with it.
You have two problems the alternator is not charging the battery. And the alarm system went into a fault code. First disconnect the battery. Charge the battery. When the battery is charged. Reconnect. Get in the car and have a friend use the key from the outside to lock the doors. The security light on the dash should light up. After it blinks. You manually unlock the door from the inside. The alarm should go off. Then use the door key to turn off the alarm one direction sets the alarm the other turns it off. Once the alarm goes off. Start the car.
Have the alternator check.
Good luck
