Still looking for answers on 96 Corsica 2.2

Missfire on 3rd cylinder, but not everytime your start the car. It has happened only 2 X. , Checked plug and it was ok, suspect number 3 injector bad, but my problem is, I need to know how to check the injector. Can you help me? Also do you reccommend fuel injector cleaner? Thanks

With the engine runnung use a automotive stethoscoope adainst each injector. And listen for a clicking sound. If you don't have a stethoscope use a long screwdriver, put the metal end on the injector and listen throuh the handle. When replacing the injector be sure that you use one havr the identical part nuimber. Unplug the electrical connector. Remove the fue metercover. Do NOT remove the fuel meter cover assemble gasket. Using two screwdrivers to pry out the injector. There are many injector cleaners on the market. I would use a popular brand such as stp or gumout
