Engine Performance problem
1996 Chevy Corsica 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i just had the back head gasket replaced, now when i get it on the road it hesitates to get up to speed and i have to let off a little and then push on the gas again several times to get it to get up to speed....i need to know why and what to do to fix it.

Inspect and test all the following listed below:

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.
