3.1, cold start, not much for fast idle (even below zero) drives fine until warm. After warm, idles ok and runs good at no or low throttle, starts hesitating and bucking as throttle is opened and load increased until tranny downshifts to high rpm at which point seems to clear out and run well until upshift and load increases. Then starts the process all over again. Can maintain steady highway speed if gas pedal is feathered once up to speed while maintaining low rpms. Easier done in D rather than O.D. NO check engine light or codes on an inexpensive scanner. New plugs and wires when I bought it 10k ago. Issue seems to have gotten worse with time. Anything I can do without a spendy scanner?

off the top, i will say change the map sensor or clean it out, then change the pcv. once that is done check fuel pressure. seems like it may not be getting what it needs. and throttle position could be off ,not to mention timing, not to mention a possible arc from one of the plug wires against the block
