1994 Chevy Corsica recharge kits

where do i connect the recharge kit on the above vehicle?

Hi kevd66. Welcome to the forum. Look for the port on the hose going from the firewall to the compressor. Be sure to wear safety glasses. Escaping refrigerant can cause frostbite and freeze eyeballs. Be sure you're using the correct refrigerant too. By '94, most vehicles had switched to the newer R-134. It can not be mixed with the older R-12.

If the container doesn't empty within a minute or two with the engine running, place the can in a pot of hot water. Always keep the top of the can up so vapor enters the system. Liquid refrigerant that gets into the compressor can lock it up.
