Chevy wheel bearing
Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1993 Chevy Corsica 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 135000 miles
I usually do all of my repairs. I have had this corsica about a year, i have not had to really do much to it, but i have a wheel bearing that I need to change . How exactly does this come off and back on . I dont expect to have any problems, I thought I would ask.

Hello, the autozone site has step by step procedures. Go to the site, click on (vehicle repair guides) follow the links.
They talk about using a special puller to get the half shaft loose from the bearing, and it is best to use the proper tool, but, in a bind, I have used a chain, connected by a couple lug nuts, try to place the chain over the center of shaft, I then used a small scissor-jack between chain and end of halfshaft. It didn't take much pressure, to get it loose. It is best to use the proper tool.
