1993 Chevy Corsica engine not turning over

i was driving the car, heard a few tapping noises after an hour the engine died and wouldnt even turn over. the car has been sitting for months.

Hello, is the engine froze-up? Can you turn the crank by hand? You might pull all the plugs and accessory belts, see if you can turn it. If those noises were internal engine, that doesn't sound good to me.
