Engine Mechanical problem
1991 Chevy Corsica 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
When I'm driving my car, and I slow down to stop at a light, or pull into a driveway - it has a tendency to stall out. At times, it will restart, but when I put it into gear, it dies again. I've replaced the o2 sensor - but I know that isn't causing this problem. Could it be the TCC or perhaps a build up of residue around the plate?

chances are that it is the tcc switch. My '95 would do the same act, i would pull over let the motor cool off a little and than it would restart and drive until again i would hit stop and go traffic or a red light and the car would die. I just yanked that harness connected to the tcc on the drivers side of the tranny and have been driving like that for the past three years without any problems
