our 91 corsica was given to us but before that it was sitting for around four months. it does fine going to town and back but when you go on prolonged trips it seems to want to die when you come to a stop. we have replaced the air filter, the idle air control valve, and put fuel injection cleaner and gas treatment into it. also, the gas peddle seems to want to stick at times, especially when the car wants to act up. please help

Clean out the throttle plate and check the PCV and EGR valves.

The last answer was correct clean out the throttle body so the plate doesn't stick. How to= Buy a small can of intake cleaner. Spray can. Take the intake hose off and spray some in the intake hole. clean with a rag. If you really want to clean it have someone hold the rpms to about 1500 and sprap some in while running. Do no overspray and kill the engine and use caution when doing so. Hope this helps
