1990 Chevy Corsica will not run

Engine Mechanical problem
1990 Chevy Corsica 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

the car died on the road got it home pulled fuel injector wire off the drivers side [ the only one you can get to without plenuim being removed] to see if I had pulse I did, the car started while testing, put wire back on killed the engine, everytime I can start it with connector off , put connector on it kills engine. Please help me this is the only car we have. Thanks John

Hope this reply/ answer is not to late for v-6 Corsica owners. Basically, the engineers at chevy designed the ignition control module to disable the ignition system if ONLY ONE fuel injector is not between 12 to 18 ohms approx. Unplugging the connector from the faulty fuel injector will enable your engine to run, but not very efficiently. Dan Thompson
