Engine Performance problem
1988 Chevy Corsica 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My '88 Corsica 2.8 has recently been not wanting to start or stay running if it does, when hot, but not all the time. The last time no gas came out of the schrader valve, just compressed air. I have replaced the pressure regulator and the fuel filter. The fuel pressure is 22 -24, running or not. Any ideas? Thanks
