1983 Chevy Citation replace power steering belt

Engine Mechanical problem
1983 Chevy Citation 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 70000 miles

I want to replace power steering belt but I am unable to figure out how to loosen the power steering pump belt adjustment to get the old belt off.

My Citation is equipped with air conditioning, if that makes a difference.

Hello and thanks for the donation!

To loosen your vehicle's power steering belt, first loosen the power steering pump's pivot and mounting bolts.
Now move the pump toward the engine until enough slack is created to remove the belt from the pulley.
