I've got a buddy that needs help and I can't seem to figure out the problem, hopefully you can help give us some ideas.

His pickup died on him the other day pulling out of the driveway, like he killed it. Started back up, started to pull away again and it died again, and now it won't start at all, motor turns over strong, but doesn't seem to be any spark. He says he has fuel going thru the systems, so are there some basic things he should be looking for.
