Truck won't start - cranks, trys to kick over, but won't, then wears battery down. Tuned up, new spark plugs, etc. Friend advised possibly distributor module part needs to be replaced? Does this sound like the problem?

Are you getting fuel all the way up to the front. Open a sparkplug or so and look for wetness ( Gas ) If so disconnect a sparkplug wire and ground it to the engine and while a helper cranks her over look for spark. Do you have spark? I need to know this before we can continue this is where we start-
