Chevy 1500 steering w/ tilt
160,000 miles,4.3 liter The problem I am having is that the steering wheel is completly loose. It can be moved in any direction. The tilt lever is not stuck I have already tried that route. Thank you for your help.

remove the steering wheel ann the components inside there you will find some screws that hold the tilt to the colum retiten the screws up that should take care of that problem unless the two side pin are broken the you would have to replace the whole column
