After turning a corner my engine stalled. After getting a tow home, I tried starting it the next day. It did start but died after a couple of seconds and would not restart. The ignition switch or key feels sloppy and am wondering if a bad switch is the problem. It is getting fuel and was running fine until it died. It died like it was as short. Yet it still cranks.

Start with the basics, and work your way up, Last tune up was? Wires plugs ALL filters? If all that is ok, check for a stuck EGR, then test fuel pump pressure, If it won't restart, determine what's missing, the engine needs three things to run, Spark at all plugs, gas to all cylinders, and compression in all cylinders, tho an engine may run lacking one in one cylinder, it won't run very well!

and this one!
In your case the fuel pressure video doesnt apply, we used to remove the fuel line and check for one pint in 30 seconds of cranking, once it runs it should have 5-7 psi. Check the small fuel filter right where the fuel line attaches to the carb, you need two wrenches, filter is under the big nut!
