Engine Cooling problem
1987 Chevy Celebrity

I recently drove my 87 celebrity that had been sitting for a couple of months. Like 5 months. When I drove it today the low coolant came on. I only drove the car for a total of 45 minutes and it began to overheat. I checked and have plenty of antifreeze and all my liquids are good. What could be wrong. Also the seatbelt is jammed. Maybe it got twisted but whats the best way to unjam it. Maybe taking it apart from the top with a torx bit to untwist it and then reconnect it to the side panel is that even possible?

For a car that overheats after sitting for five months, I'd make sure the radiator isn't blocked. Sometimes sediment will collect in it. You might be able to tell when the engine is cold by opening the radiator cap and squeezing the lower radiator hose. As for the seat belt, if there's a torx fastener, it will come out with a torx bit, but if it's not retracting, the problem might be with the retractor inside the side panel.
