This car is generally very well maintained. Recent new starter, module, pickup, cap & rotor and coil. The other day I tried to start it. It turned over well for a second and then everything went dead. No lights, nothing. I used a meter on the battery and leads and there's 12 volts there. Is there a master fuse somewhere ??

Right now the issue is not cranking amps, I have no power to anything. The connections are in mint condition and tight. It was cranking for a second at full speed and I fully expected it to fire. Then it abruptly stopped cranking and nothing electrical works at all. Where would I find fusible leads and how to I test them? Is there one that acts as a main fuse? I'm out in the boonies with 2 feet of snow right now so I can't just get it towed in somewhere.

Check the links down at the starter battery terminal the smaller wire with a lump on it or barrel looking shape before and after the links.
