I have a 1998 chevy cavalier, 2.2L 4 cylinder engine, with about 190,000 miles. I all started when I had a blow out a few days ago. I put a donut on the front passenger side of the car. Then the next day I was diving out of the driveway, and when I was driving off the car would start to slow down so I gave it a little gas and it would kinda struggle. It wouldn't go pass 30mph, so I would let off of the gas let it cruise for a little bit. Then after that it would work fine. It did the same thing yesterday when I leaving the shop after I got freeon put in the car and when I got new tires for the car. Later on that day I was on a dirt road going down a steep hill and I hit a pot hole it kinda shook my car up a little. I got out of my car to see if I missed anything up, but I saw nothing. About 5 miles later I stop at a stop sign, and as I was leaving the stop sign my car would start to struggle. So I gave it more gas, then it would catch a it would start driving good, then it would struggle again for a little bit, then it starts working fine. I took it to a friend house to see if my friend could find anything wrong with it, but he could figure it out. There was a little smoke coming from behind the engine. So I let the car sit ther for about an hour, before I decided to go home. I get in my car and start it (no problem there), so I put it in reverse and tried backing out of the driveway, but it wouldn't move. I gave it a little gas but still it wouldn't do anything eventually it started to back up very slowly. As I got out of the drive way I put it in drive, gave some gas but it wouldn't move the engine would rev up. The rpm needle would go up to about 3,500 then the car would catch and it would start going about 10mph but that is as fast as I would go. So I left my car on the side of the road. The next morning I went to my car I started it, then iput it in drive, I gave it a little gas, but now the car wont move at all. There is also a funny smell in the car (dont know if it is because I kept on trying to give it gas so it would move) plz help thanks

Do you have a check engine light on. I would also find out what is burning and smell is coming from. Cause you know thats where youre is more likely starting from.

Good Luck.
