2002 Chevy Cavalier car not getting fuel

2002 Chevy Cavalier V4 Front Wheel Drive 96650 miles

Just changed out the motor in 2002 cavalier had problems starting but got it started ran it for 45 mins shut it off started again tried to restart acouple hours later it started but stalled out after about 3 minutes then it acts like its not getting fuel which is what it acted like when we first tried to start it ! Is this an electrical proble or is it possibly the fuel pump?

Check the fuel pressure with a guage to rule out the fuel pump

Easy way on the cavaliers. Have someone turn the key while you lay down by the gas tank, if you cant hear the fuel pump then theres a good starting point
