My daughter ran the car out of gas. Now it will occasionally start but dies right away. I have replaced the plugs and insured that they spark, and I have replaced the fuel filter. The fuel pump noise is the same as before it was run out of gas. I can't fine the test port to check the fuel pressure, at least there isn't one on the rail. I also checked all the fuses going to the pcm and they are okay. Is there anything I'm missing before I go to the expense of replacing the fuel pump?

try taking the air intake hose off and spray some starter spray in the injector

do this before you do anything else :)
