About a month ago, my car started overheating after only getting started for about 10 minutes. I notice fumes coming from inside of the vents in the car. I was told by a mechanic that my radiator was backed up and needed to be replaced. I bought a used radiator and had them fix my car. After I picked it up and started driving, I noticed fumes coming from the inside of my car AGAIN and the car was still getting overheated! I was then told by the same mechanic that I needed a heater cord, so he just blocked it off. Well my car is still getting overheated and antifreeze is leaking out of my car. My boyfriend and not the mechanic noticed a hole in the lower radiator hose. We replaced the hose, thinking that the problem would be solved. My car is still getting overheated and antifreeze is leaking out again. Please offer me a solution on what could possibly be wrong with my car.
