1996 Chev Cavalier, 240,000 miles. Loud humming noises coming from front end, worse when turning left. Starts getting really loud around 15-20 mph. Mechanic said it was a wheel bearing, and I paid big bucks to have it replaced. Now the sound is even louder than before! Took it back to the mechanic, he said it was now a bad tire, and rotated the tires. Sound is still there, and now I think the wheel bearings are even worse than before. Cound this be anything else?? The said the CV joint is ok. Thank you!
