1996 Chevy Cavalier Starter won't engage after replacing fu

I just finished replacing one fuel injector, and the EGR valve, and now the starter will not engage, when the key os turned on. The strter and battery are ok Had them both checked, could it be someting in the computer keeping it from starting?
