1993 Chevy Cavalier turn signal not working

I cant seem to find the blinker switch for the turn signals. The auto parts place tells me its under the dash to the right of the steering column. Still cant locate it. Is it buried somewhere?

the easy way is to turn on the 4way signals , follow clicking sounds , should be somewhere there .
