my car fule pump is not working on all the conecters for the wires has this tar stuff that im told was used on batory posts and I do not know if to much of that stuff is on the pump relay wires do you know wer the pump wire is?

Have someone turn the key to "on" while you listen to the FP relay. It should click after a few seconds, if not the relay could be bad.

The "tar" is a insulator material GM used on many 80's and 90's cars to prevent moisture intrusion. It is very messy to remove.

I don't know wich plug is the FP relay it duse not click and I don't know if the tar with the warmth of the motor and the radling made the plug back out and the tar workd the way in the gap to dis rup the conetion
