Engine Mechanical problem
1991 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

When I go to start the car fuel sprays all the time I am cranking the motor over flooding it if I unplug the injector and crank it until it cleans itself out then after plugging it back in and playing with the gas I sometimes get it to run is there any thing that tells the injectors to stop?

You sure it not leaking somewhere else other than the injector/s. The computer controls the pulse width of the injector/s which means the length of time the injector/s will open

Check the coolant temperature sensor resistances cold and hot-could be misleading the computer that the engine is cold and more fuel is needed when its not
