This should be an easy one. Can I swap the good 2.2L 4cyl engine from my 2 door 90 cavalier into my new 4 door 90 cavalier? I am guessing the engine is exactly the same. Thanks!

Thanks that's what I thought. The cavalier I have now the body is so rusted the car is literally about to fall apart so I bought a dead cavalier same year but 4 door. I got the car from a local junk yard but there is no rust, etc. There are a few parts missing I have to change over like the rear lights and instrument panel. Are there any differences in these things between the two cars?

Yes I believe I made a good decision. Any ideas on the gauges? The plastic panel is off but the gauges are still there. Will they fit right in place?
