Acceptable front wheel bearing surface wear

I have a 1995 Caprice wagon with 120K miles, auto trans, lt1 engine. I wanted to repack the front wheel bearings and I removed the rotor from the RH spindle. I noticed a small area on the outer bearing wear area that looks like rust pits and is rough enough to catch your fingernail on. Is this within acceptable wear limits? What are the acceptable wear limitations on the spindle bearing area? Thanks alot for your input.

What this means is you should replace it, do both inn and outter, the dust cap should be replaced as well if water is getting into the bearings. Do the seal too!
Thight to 18 ft lbs while spinning the wheel, then back off till just loose, then finger tighten to the next hole the cotter pin can go thru.
