1994 Chevy Caprice

My 1994 chevy caprice engine starts, but when I put it in drive, it shuts off. Any suggestions?

Hi:
First I would recommend having the computer scanned for trouble codes. Most nationally recognized parts stores will do it for free. If you can't get the car to one, you will need to check for fuel pump pressure / volume or any major vacuum leaks.
