1993 Chevy Caprice no start

When I turn the key nothing happens, the key turns vary easy but it dont have that spring feeling at the start position I changed the ignition switch already and still nothing

Welcome to the forum. I'd make sure the battery has a full charge and the connections are good. With the key in the start position, the purple wire at the starter solenoid should be hot. If it isn't backtrack the circuit to ignition switch. You may have to check feed to and from the ignition switch?

It could be in the steering column
linkage to the ignition switch. The electrical part is located towards the base of the column. What usually breaks is the metal rack that has teeth. It is connected to the lock cylinder. It is on the left side in side the column
