I have a 91 Chevy Caprice 145000 miles. Whenever I get on the freeway and mash the gas the speed won't go pass 60 mph it losses power and it starts to lose speed. I take my foot off the gas and mash slowly , it starts to pick up speed once again. the check engine light comes on for a second and cuts back off , changed fuel filter and put fuel injector cleaner in the gas tank , still the same results .

Next thing to perform would be an exhaust backpressure check. You can do this with a gauge in one of the O2 sensor ports. Another way to rule out plugged exhaust is to either remove the oxygen sensor(s) and drive it, or disconnect the exhaust pre-cat and drive it. It is going to be loud, and make sure the hot exhaust is not exiting on something that could be compromised.
