Last night after dark, on the way home, my headlights just stopped working....the flashers and turn signals still worked...just not the headlights...I made it about 5 miles up the road they came back on momentarily and then went back out....I had to park the car and have someone come get me.
This morning I go to pick up the car and it drives for a while just fine then it just died going down the road....I was able to pull over and sat for about 5 minutes and then it started back up....it repeated this two more times on a 19 mile trip home...any suggestions or assistance is greatly appreciated...I have to have my car for work tomorrow.

Hi tdebear,

Thank you for the donation.

When the engine stalled, did the dash indicator lights come on?
Any other components that is not working apart from the headlights?
Does the high beams or passing lights work then?

No, none of the indicator lights came on.....it just shut down..got off the road (since i was doing 60 mph when it died) and it took about 5-10 minutes each time to get it restarted.....
The a/c is a little light on the a/c but other than that the car works great
the only thing that worked the original night (at the start of this horrible mess) was the flashers would blink....no high beams and im not sure what you mean by "passing lights"

Passing lights means using the high beams when the headlights are not turned on.

Symptoms indicates a likely faulty ignition switch. Get it checked.
