1997 Chevy Camaro 6 cyl Automatic 147000 miles

Hi I own a 1997 chevy camaro 3.8, recently I have been loosing coolant and the engine is knocking at cold start only, I also had a code pop up saying missfire cylinder four, so I went ahead and replaced the plugs and wires, water pump, thermostat, flushed the system and still the engine knoecks when cold and still losing coolant, please help me

Ever notice white smoke from tailpipe in A.M. Startup?
If yes coolant leaking into cyl #4 headgasket or head

Yes I do have white smoke in the morning time, so what is exactly the problem and how expensive can something like this run

Need to pull heads check for crackes plane and replace with new gaskets With milage would reccomend valve job. If you have it done @$1000 to $ 1400
