Engine Performance problem
1995 Chevy Camaro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I had the car scaned and the codes that showed up wr p0300 and it read that the o2 sensor in bank 1 sensor 2 needed to be replaced. So what do I need to do to fix the problem and to make the car stop jerking when im driving down the freeway. Dose the oil filter have anything to do with it im not sure if the lady at auto zone gave me the right oil filter. Do the 1995 and 1996 oil filters fit the same or do they diff?

The oil filters are compatable for those years. If the filter fit on and threaded with no problem. Its good to go. The jerking could be caused by the o2 sensor. The 02 sensor communicates with the cars computer and regulates fuel flow accordingly. If its bad you might have some flux going on. Its simple to change. Just unhook the old. Unscrew it and put the new one in. If that dont fix the jerking repost here and we'll work from there. Good luck. :)
