1994 Chevy Camaro Power top

I have a 1994 Camaro Z-28 convertible.
The power top will go down, but it will not go up.
Could it be the siwtch?
(I live overseas in the Middle-east. It is very difficult to find replacement parts. If it is the switch, can a generic switch be used or does it have to be a genuine replacement?)

It could be the switch but it could be something else like a relay. It could also be the motor or out of fluid. if you go to www.gmparts direct.com they ship the parts to you, but i'm not sure aout overseas. you'll just have to look in the catalog when you find the problem first. here is the diagram.
