I am not getting fuel to the engine if a keep spraying starter fluid in the throdle body wehen my friend cranks it over it runs untill I stop and its bone dry in there where it should be wet. Help

Hi:
Have you checked for fuel pressure anywhere in the system? For example, is fuel making it to the fuel filter or is the pump just not working? That is where you need to start. Can you hear the pump run for a second when you first turn on the key?

Also, see if any of the parts stores lend tools. If they do, tell them you need to check your fuel pressure. Try that. If you can't, you will need to have someone check it for you. It sounds lik the fuel pump may be bad.

I can hear the fuel pump when I turn the key and I just replaced the fuel filter. But have not pressure tested it yet.
