I JUST BOUGHT A 91 CAMARO RS V8 TBI 5.7L, I'VE FOUND OUT PUMP RUNS, FUEL TO FILTER(INLINE), JETS TESTED TO HAVE POWER, NO FUEL TO JETS, NOT EVEN GETTING TO THE CARB. HAVE A CODE 54, (1)HOW DO I FIND OUT WAY ITS NOT GETTING FUEL TO JETS/CARB?(2) WHY DOESN'T THE FUEL PUMP WHEN PUMPS ON/RUNNING(MOTOR NOT TURNING OVER/ KEY JUST ON), BUT WHEN OFF (KEY OFF)FUEL COMES OUT TO BEFORE FUEL FILTER ;DOESTHIS MEAN PUMP WORKS OR JUNK? (3)HOW DO FIX CODE AND KNOW ITS RIGHT (LIGHT ON OR OFF OR FLASHING)?

THANKS,
NICK C.

Hi cfamily2, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation.

Check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge to confirm if the fuel pump is producing the correct fuel pressure and comeback with the readings so that we can continue to assist

I did find out there was 0 pressure, but could here the wine.
A friend here in town told me to drop tank, it could be a bad rubber line (hose).
Yup, he was right, the hose was completly desinagrated, (gone). So now waiting on new pump, sceen boot, hose, fillter. Sould be in by tonight. My have car running by friday night we'll see.
Sending unit test ok.
