1991 Chevy Camaro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 118K miles

I have a 350 4 bolt main that I want to put into this 91 camaro RS that originally has a 3.1 6 cylinder in it. What kind of issues am I going to have converting from the 6 to the 8? I mean they came with 305 5.0 v8's so it shouldnt be too much of a hassle right? Mines a v6 though and I hear that their wouldnt be any clearance problems just bracket issues. What other issues and am I going to have to rewire everything in the dash since I wont need the current ecm anymore?

You have no idea the can of worms you are talking about creating. Your suspension isn't even strong enough to support the 350, not to mention the exhaust system, cooling system and the entire operating system for the car and in case you weren't aware of it, it's against Federal law to modify that car like that and drive it on US highways

Wrenchtech,
I asked you what complications would I come accross putting a 350 in that 91 camaro not what wouldnt work. And since you brought it up, the exhaust system comes with the 350 such as headers, pipes, and 2 mufflers. As far as the cooling system your wrong again, it comes with the 350 such as the water pump, fan, thermostat, and radiator. I only need radiator supports and mounting hardware. As far as the operating system goes a new dash would be installed or gauges at the least and if your worried about the tranny its a 700R4 so it'll be fine and the rearend has prairie gears in it to go with my high end application and I already have the race fuel pump. The suspension would easily support the 350 once beefed up a smidge, not hard to do. And finally you said its illegal, well maybe you didnt consider the fact that this is a drag car only and might just be a dirt track car. This isnt my first time around wrenches and upgrades, however this is my first time putting a 350 in that such car. So back to my original question, what do I have to worry about as far as mounting it and clearance issues if any? I've made it more specific for you now. I do however appreciate that you would tell those things to an unsuspecting person.
