How do you elimate the computer key problem of a lost key?

By using a non-computer key?

We work on Chevys alot in our shop. The way we handle lost keys is to get a new one from the dealership. They cost anywhere from $35-$150. Depends on the dealer. I got one for a 94 from one dealership and it was $35. Went to another dealership for another 94 set and they wanted $150. You may also want to call some locksmiths. Alot of modern tech locksmiths reprogram a key for you.
