My Camaro keeps dying on me and Black Smoke comes out of the exhaust. Could it be a blown head gasket?

Black smoke from exhaust of car comes out while you are driving indicates that the car air fuel/ratio is too rich, when a car air/fuel ratio is too rich, more gas is being burned from a car's engine combustion chambers. Most likely caused by a failed sensor such as oxygen sensor. Has your check engine light came on?

Since engine light is on you will want to retrieve the stored trouble code(s) because that will pinpoint the culprit. to retrieve the code(s) follow the steps below..
