How do I set the distributor timing? There appears to be three marks on the balancer to indicate TDC. How do I know which one to use? I can turn the carnk with a ratchet and align the marks but which one is correct? The distrubutor was pulled out by the owner I need the the correct tdc mark and firing order on a 2.8 cylinder engine were should the timig be after I have align my marks with the tdc and ditrubutor thanks for all your help

The timing mark you need to find on the balancer is the mark closest to the keyway. I have forgotten which is #1 on the cap but you would need to put the rotor to the cap to make it fire right and the firing order should be onthe intake. #1 is on the right bank on that engine. And it is 1-3-5 on the right bank and 2-4-6 on the left bank. Right bank is passenger side.
