i have a 73 camaro with a 1970 454 in it, the motor is out of a passenger car like a biscayne or and impalla its a ls4 model and im trying to find out how to tell weather its a 2bolt or a 4bolt maine so i can swap haead intake carb and exhaust so i know how much horse power it will hold case it has iron detuned heads right now[img:96d0655a71]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/146132_PICT0272_1.jpg[/img:96d0655a71]

Four bolt main-means they are 4 bolt on each main bearing caps.

run the block casting number on the rear of the block , it might be difficult to see , take a small wire brusf to clean it off it needed , it should be on the drivers side , a small pad behind valve cover on drivers side of distributor
