My engine is brand new from the factory creating 397 hp I started using conventional oil when I got the new engine because thats what they recommended now my hp is 310

I somehow think that you have been misinformed by the "factory" you purchased the engine from. Where did the 397 HP number come from, and who told you that since you changed the oil, you somehow lost 80 HP? Was it a complete engine, from carb to headers, or was it a short block, or long block. You need to tell us more.
