1995 BLAZER 4 DR V-6 WITH 140,000 MILES IT WILL START UP & RUN FOR A FEW SECONDS, THEN START TO SURGE UP AND DOWN, THEN DIE.
THE FUEL PUMP AND FILTER WAS REPLACED, FUEL PRESSURE IS 58-60# WITH GAUGE AT TEST PORT. IF IT SETS FOR SEVERAL HOURS THE FUEL PRESSURE BLEEDS OFF TO 0. IS THIS NORMAL?
YOU CAN SPRAY CARB CLEANER INTO THE THROTTLE BODY AND IT WILL START AND RUN. AFTER A FEW TIMES IT STAYS RUNNING AND OPERATES OK. THE NEXT DAY IT MAY OR MAY NOT RUN OK.

Test the fuel pump relay and fuel pump/oil pressure sending unit. The computer energizes the relay for 2 secs. then when it fires up the fuel pump/oil pressure sending unit powers up the pump.

You need repair manual for your year/make/model see link below
