CHEVY HOW TO CHANGE THE THERMOSTAT ON BLAZ

2002 Chevrolet Blazer

Heater problem
2002 Chevy Blazer 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 82000 miles

My car keeps running hot then the heater kicks in and it goes back to normal, then the heater shuts off and it happens over and over. It is WAY to cold outside and I need to get this fixed, but am on a tight budget so I would like to try to replace the thermostat first to see if that is the problem. Would anyone please help by telling me how to do this on a 2002 Blazer?
