Hi, I just bought a 01 blazer Zr2 w/ 71k and it runs pretty good just lack a little power but it's good. I know that there is a coolant leak behind the engine bay near the a/c unit, I looked under the car and I see the coolant leaking around the top of the transmission to the starter. But that's all I can see and I try using a mirror but it's to tight up there from under the car. The coolant has been change to color green no more dexcool. I check around the intake area and front of the engine, nothing. I check the coolant level frequently and I top it off every two weeks. I check the hoses from the heater core but it's good. Am I looking at a intake gasket job ot is there any thing that I miss around that area. Any help would be great. If the intake gasket need replacing I would like to get all the stuff I need by saturday so I can tackel the job. Thank you very much.

See if you can get your hands on a cooling system pressure tester. IF you can get pressure on it and then start looking again. Funny things can happen with coolant leaks. I have been fooled by a line that pees a stream to another area.

Pressure test when cold and let it stay under pressure for a half hour at least, unless you find it before then. 4.3 motors are common for the intakes and wouldn't surprise me if it was. But get a good look at the waterpump gasket as well. Sometimes parts need to be removed to find leaks.
